Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano will remain with the Colts for the next four years, the team announced Monday.

Pagano will stay with the team through the end of 2020 and beyond, according to a statement from the team.

Pagano has been the team’s defensive coordinator since the team hired him in December 2015.

P Pagano and the Colts also announced the hiring of John Donovan as the team”s interim head coach.

Donovan will report to Pagano during the season.

Pompeo was hired by the Colts in July of 2016 and took over the defensive coordinator role following the firing of Kevin Gilbride.

The Colts finished the 2016 season ranked No. 6 in total defense.

Pagans first season in charge was a bit of a disaster.

The team finished 7-9 and finished 3-8 in the AFC South.

After his first season, Pagano oversaw a 3-13 record and finished 8-8.

He was fired after the team lost its final three games of the season to fall to 0-16.

Pagan was hired in January of 2018 as the Colts defensive coordinator.
